Galatians 6 Day 4

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. 10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

Galatians 6:9-10

Never get tired of doing good, everyone will always need it.  God has set you free to do good by doing His word.  There’s a harvest time for all things, good or bad.  While you have the opportunity, do good.  Be the light today, be the example.  Plant for tomorrow.  We don’t lose heart; we believe the word of God for today and tomorrow.  Weariness develops from wordlessness.  When we lose sight of God’s word, our spirit loses the strength of God’s word.  Our spirit lives by words, make those words Gods!

Galatians 6 Day 3

The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him. 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Galatians 6:6-8

God has placed in our hands the opportunity to have a good life.  God has given us His word and what we do with His word determines what we have in this life.  From the Spirit we will reap eternal life.  And don’t be greedy or paranoid, thinking that there’s not enough.  An eternal life is more than you and I can imagine.  Let your gratefulness and generosity open the door to greatness.

Galatians 6 Day 2

For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. 5 For each one will bear his own load.

Galatians 6:3-5

It’s not who you think you are but who everyone knows you are.  You can know all sorts of things in your head, but do you know your heart.  Who we are shows up in what we do and how we do it.  Anyone can talk a good talk, but people set free in Jesus can live a good life.

The Kitchen Table Devotional

Galatians 6 Day 1

Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself so that you too will not be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:1-2

Don’t just live a free life, share it.  Make it your mission to live a life of liberty by living a life of love.  There are no rules needed to live a life of love.  God gifts us to give.  Release what you have received, remembering that you are loved to live free.  Don’t just be patient, be a participant, in helping others to find and live the free life of love.

Galatians 5 Day 4

A little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough. 10 I have confidence in you in the Lord that you will adopt no other view; but the one who is disturbing you will bear his judgment, whoever he is.

Galatians 5:9-10 Don’t let anyone talk you out of Jesus said.  Compromise is catastrophic to this life of faith unless all you want to do is go to heaven.  Living in heaven happens by faith in all that God has said.  Don’t let anyone take God’s word from you because they are not for you, I don’t care how close they are to you.  Guard your faith and go with Jesus every time.

Galatians 5 Day 3

For we through the Spirit, by faith, are waiting for the hope of righteousness. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.

Galatians 5:5-6

This life of liberty is lived by faith, believing in Jesus, and believing Jesus.  His Spirit lives in us by faith and we have hope, not because of anything any man might say or stress, but because of everything Jesus said and showed.  It’s all ours as we walk in the love of God by faith in the heart of God.

Galatians 5 Day 1

It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore, keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1

Don’t give up and don’t give in to the policies and procedures of a world run by man.  Jesus has set us free to live free by the promises and power of God.  There’s a learning curve.  It’s not that its hard but that we’ve hardly ever lived this way.  Grab hold of the promises of God and stand firm, refuse to quit.  Keep asking yourself, am I living in the promises of God by the power of God or am I back to trying to please the man and persuade the crowd?

Galatians 4 Day 4

However at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods. 9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again?

Galatians 4:8-9

The secret to living this life is to know the creator of this life who is God and who is our Father God.  The life lived away and without our Father is a life that is chained to the earth, the natural.  The life lived by the Spirit of God our Father is powerful enough to possess love, light, life, and liberty.  Why would any of us turn away from Him to merely have just this here?

Galatians 4 Day 2

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, 5 so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

Galatians 4:4-5

We can be free because Jesus got free.  He did it personally & powerfully by coming into our situation and defeating our slavery.  Being without sin, Jesus lived up to the law of God by living fully in the love of God.  For those who would believe in Him, there is complete redemption from the bondage and curse of the law.  Live listening to Jesus rather than trying to obey the law.

Galatians 3 Day 3

“THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.” 12 However, the Law is not of faith; on the contrary, “HE WHO PRACTICES THEM SHALL LIVE BY THEM.” 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, “CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE”— 14 in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

 Galatians 3:11-14

The righteous man lives by faith, but then so also does the wretched man.  The difference is that the righteous man puts his faith in the One while the wretched man puts his faith in the many.  Jesus died because you can’t trust in the many and Jesus died a cursed death on a tree for us so that we could live in the blessed life of God.  Faith looks, leans, and lives trusting in the word, work, and will of God.  Just like Abraham, this person lives the blessed life of the Spirit as he learns to let go of the cursed life of the skin.  Take God at His word, completely.
