David Day 98
That day David fled from Saul and went to Achish king of Gath. 11 But the servants of Achish said to him, “Isn’t this David, the king of the land? Isn’t he the one they sing about in their dances: “‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands’?”
1 Samuel 21:10-11
You’ll end up in strange places when you decide to run in fear. One of the great joys of maturity and freedom is the ability to be who you want to be, do what you want to do, and go where you want to go. The enemy uses the events of life to scare us and steal from us all those freedoms. What changed? David had lost his confidence in his relationship with God. Be careful, titles and testimonies of victory can distract your focus from the truth. The next thing is that we have to forget whose we are and who we are to fit in with what we are not. In Christ, we don’t have to live this way.
