KTD                          The Spirit-filled Life                              Day 19

²⁰ When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. ²¹ Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”

John 14:20-21

It’s this resurrection that changes everything.  A lot of people have died but none has come back from the grave of their own volition.  That’s the proof.  Jesus said that the resurrection would be the proof that God is in Him and that He will be “in” us.  Hoq?  The Spirit of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, will live in and through those who believe in Jesus as Lord.  The Holy Spirit is going to reveal the love of God and the life of Jesus in and through us who believe Him.  And it’s this revelation that marks the believe.  We will live in the revelation of God, not religion, routine, and rules of God.  No it will be a living revelation relationship where we hear and see what man without God can hear and see and it will be powerful in this world.

¹⁷ He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. John 14:17

Think about this!  We will hear, see, and know things that this world and its’ rulers cannot hear, know, or see.  We can only live the life Jesus lived by living in the presence, power, passion, and perspective of the Holy Spirit.  If we believe in Him, He will live in us.  If we believe Him, He will live through us.  It’s a powerful realization.  We have what the world around us does not have.  Don’t be afraid and don’t give up.  We have Him because we believe in him and He has us because we believe Him.  Believe the Holy Spirit  He is not done with us yet, listen, learn, and live by  His power today.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. ¹⁷ He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. John 14:16-17

This is day of incredible possibilities.  God wants us to know what Jesus knew, the presence and persistence of His Holy Spirit.  We are NEVER alone.  And we are NEVER without direction.  The Holy Spirit lives in those who believe and He lives through those who can believe.  Jesus wants us to know what He knew, live like He lived, and have what He had on this blue marble.  Just ask!  He wants these things for us.  The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit want this for us.   We have to want those things too.  Ask the Father, believing, and we can possess these promises in the Name of Jesus.  It’s an incredible day to be alive.  Live like Jesus.
