Driven by Eternity DAY 32
DISPLAYING YOUR WORK FOREVER
If your work passes inspection, fine; if it doesn’t, your part of the building will be torn out and started over. (1 Corinthians 3:14–15 MSG)
Many begin their work in God’s house well, but then veer off and fail to finish. Whether financial worries, relational pressures, the trap of offense, hurt, disappointment, or some other entanglement ensnared them, the final statement on their lives is they did not fulfill their calling. This work must be torn out and redone, leaving these saints nothing to show for their labors when they reach eternity. Can you imagine that? (John Bevere)
God wants to keep and complete His work in and through our lives and by His grace, we will be able to see it through to the end. We’ll have something to talk about in heaven. Imagine that! Don’t let anyone or anything steal your reward in heaven. Without God’s work in our lives what will talk about after this life is over? Just asking!
