The Kitchen Table Day 57
Today’s Reading: Ps 45; Is 7:10-14; Heb 10:4-10
And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:10
You can live a life that you pay for or you can live a life that’s paid for. Jesus came to do the will of God which was to give us a life that is paid for, a life where we don’t have to live in guilt, shame and regret, paying over and over for the boneheaded things we’ve done and said and wished. The Bible is filled with promises that Jesus would come and give us a new way of seeing and living. There’s a price to pay and Jesus paid the price for us to live free through the forgiveness of our sins. We no have to live as slaves to sin and the skin; Jesus paid the price for this new life. Live thankful and He will make you thoughtful about living a life that’s been paid for.
