The Kitchen Table Day 82
Today’s Reading: Ps 134: Ex 24:1-11; Jn 21:1-14
Come bless the Lord, all you servants of the Lord.
Ps 134:1
Do you know what God is saying to you and me today? It’s “come”. He’s calling us into His space and His grace. We have a choice every day to “come” to Him or go somewhere else. God said to Moses and his men, “come”. Jesus shows up on the shore early in the morning and says to His disciples, “Come and have breakfast”. Never forget that of all the things you might think God is saying to you or about you, the Bible tells us that He is saying “come”. The best thing we can do today is to “come” to Jesus and bring your luggage with you; He is not afraid of our baggage. He wants us in His presence and even though God is everywhere, He wants us to come away from all the distractions and spend time with Him. It blesses Him when we “come” away to be with Him and let Him bless us.
