The Kitchen Table Philippians Day 11
And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Philippians 2:8
It’s our obedience, not our opinion, that matters. Humility obeys Him. We’ve placed greater importance on our opinions than our obedience and our world has become a dangerous place. When our opinions about God become more important than our obedience to God life, marriage, family, home and society suffer. People who profess Christ but don’t practice Christ pollute and paralyze the gospel message. What would Jesus do? He would and did obey the Father even in the most critical circumstances. He didn’t raise His voice; He lived His life in obedience. Humility honors Him.
