See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. 1 John 3:1
We are children of God, not a curse. This is not just words but a work of God and His love. Those who have believed in Him are beneficiaries of His great love. His love has not only been poured out for them but poured into them. True love transforms! His love likens us to Him and that work of love will not be complete until Jesus appears again. At that point, even our bodies will be like His. True love transforms when it is received. We are the children of God’s love if we will receive that love. “And everyone who hopes in Him purifies himself as He is pure” (1 John 3:3) Did you ever think of purity as putting on God’s love. Love creates hope that inspires faith and by faith we live in the hope of His love and it allows God to change us. This isn’t just words, this is a real work of God and His love in the lives of those who believe and receive God’s love into their lives. Live like a child, not a curse, by living in His great love for us.
