Mark Day 31
And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! 10 Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”
Mark 11:9-10
Praise Him, for He comes with salvation, healing, and deliverance in His hands. His kingdom is great and wonderful. He is worthy of praise. But understand this, that Jesus brings with Him judgment on all that is deceptive, rebellious, and manipulating. Jesus doesn’t come just to deal with the sin of sin. He comes to deal with the system of sin. We must be ready for that judgment. His kingdom, His system, does not deal in dishonesty and delusion. We must be ready and willing to accept and accompany His system for living. In this last week before the cross, Jesus will expose the hearts and hands of those who deceive and deter people from the kingdom of heaven. Praise belongs in the mouth of those who truly trust Him. Praise belongs in the mouth of those who don’t just want judgment on sin but who want judgment on the systems of sin. It’s the kingdoms of man and hell that keep us living in sin, sickness, and sorrow. The heart of God is for true love, true life, and true liberty. Praise brings all that home. Trust Him enough to tell Him!
