Mark Day 33
And Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God. 23 Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be your Mark 11:22-24
If we want to see a miracle, we must speak to our mountain. If we want to walk in the blessing, we must speak to the barrier. Jesus said, “Have faith in God” and then He said to speak to the mountain. We speak to what we see but we believe what we hear. But we do speak! Sometimes we get so caught up in our thoughts and troubles that we don’t see the mountain/barrier before us. We must see the mountain before we can speak to it. The word of God, that we hear, empowers us to see the mountain and the wisdom of God empowers us to speak to it and command it to move. In this scripture, the Pharisees would not answer Jesus because they were afraid of what they say. Jesus wasn’t afraid and neither should we be afraid. Have faith in God, and believe what you hear Him say and then speak to what you see. We speak to what we see because we believe what we hear Him say. We speak to the mountain and He moves it out of the way. If we have faith in God, we will not only see what is in front of us but we will also know what to say when we see it.
