“The Cross”
Day 16
Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. 23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. Acts 2:22-23
The cross didn’t become the plan once Jesus was here; the cross was the plan for Jesus coming here. God Himself came to save us from our sin. And Jesus is the only one who has ever perfectly walked out God’s plan for his life. The cross, with its power to forgive and free man from the wages of sin, was the point of His life. He went there so that we wouldn’t have to go there, and He did it in love. Thank You Jesus for loving us.
