“The Resurrection”
Day 3
But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. Acts 2:24
The power and permanence of death were defeated in the resurrection of God. Because of how Jesus lived, He could decide how he was going to die and know how He was going to live again (Jn 10:17-18) Jesus died from faith, with hope in love and God raised Him from the dead just as He had said (Ps 16:10). The power of death was defeated by the pleasure of the resurrection. Death cannot have what love holds. God so loved us that He came so that we could live in that love. If we believe, we too will behold the resurrection power of God over the pangs of death.
