Coming to terms with forgiveness will let us come to grips with our future. Our future begins with forgiveness. And it’s in the heart of God for every one of us to know His forgiveness. His work begins with a forgiven soul. It’s here that the Holy Spirit can begin and bring to light the love, light, and liberty of our salvation. It all begins with receiving the forgiveness of our Master, Jesus Christ. We receive that forgiveness in the heart; we believe it is real and right now. We don’t deserve it and can’t earn it; it’s a gift from the heart of God Himself to those of us who can believe it and receive it. And it’s so big and so real, we won’t be able to keep it to ourselves. It’s a new way of living that works for the future.
