Peace Is a Person
For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
Peace! We thought it was some place in solitude but it’s not really a place at all, it’s a person. Peace comes with this person into our lives. When we are with this person we are at peace and when we are aware that this person is with us we are at peace. It’s not being alone, by ourselves at all. Peace is found in the company of this person. And this person is God. He is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We’re in the company of friends for those who believe in and know Jesus. Peace isn’t necessarily something we find by getting away buy be getting with the One who knows us, loves us and appreciates our company. Does that sound right to you and if so why?
