Advent 2020 Day 6
I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near: a star shall come out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel; it shall crush the forehead of Moab and break down all the sons of Sheth. Numbers 24:17
There would be a star and a scepter that would come out of Jacob. A king with power and the authority to rule would come. Balaam prophesied of David and Jesus who would come to rule and reign. That star was the giant slayer, and that star would be a baby born in a manger. The Wisemen would follow the star to the house of Joseph, a decedent of David and find the Star of Juda just as God had said. This Jesus isn’t just a baby but the King of kings & Lord of Lords with power & authority to use it. Remember that when you pray!
