Philippians Day 8
Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Philippians 2:12-13
God is working in you to will and to work His good pleasure. God can do anything He wants without us, but He chooses to do everything He does through us. God created us for this place, this moment. He created us to rule and reign over His creation and gave us His word to do so. This authority is given to us by God Himself. The only thing Satan can do at this point is to try to deceive us. What are we obeying? His word! We work out God’s plans for our lives as we live by His word, from His word and for His word. We align with the will and work of God when we choose to honor His word with our lives. Today it doesn’t matter who is watching, it matters who we’re serving.
