“The Prodigal”
Day 23
And he arose and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion, and ran and embraced him and kissed him. Luke 15:20
Get up and go! We can never be content with our own words and window on life. We are not God; we can’t see all things like He does and we don’t know all things as He does. Get up and go to God the Father. That’s the only place to really know Him. Psalm 16:11 says, “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence, there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” The young man is about to find a whole different scenario than he imagined because the father is a whole different person than we are. Jesus said, “Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.” (John 8:47)
Get up and go to God yourself! He is more than we can even imagine.
