Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, 5 but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected 1 John 2:4-5
This life is truly defined and decided by love. The life we’re living right now is the one we’ve chosen and love. We live in and by and for what we really love. We can’t help it; it’s our nature. This life with Jesus is determined and defined by the love we believe He has for us. For those who believe in Jesus but don’t love Him, this Christian life becomes difficult and demanding. The key to the abundant Christian life is to fall in love with the One who loved us first and loves us most. Fall in love with Jesus and everything He has done to bring love into our lives. When we love Him, we begin to live with Him and for Him. In the love of God, we find forgiveness and favor. Perfect that loving relationship by believing and living in the love God has for us.
