Philippians Day 5
Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel, and not frightened in anything by your opponents. Philippians 1:27-28
Let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ that I may hear of you. Where there are affection and appreciation there will be affirmation also. Is the life you’re living right now communicating your faith or your fear? Bring it all into alignment. Where there is agreement there is authority, and where there is alignment there is ability. This thing about agreement and alignment is the secret to our life in Christ and a real threat to our enemy. A lot of people might agree with the gospel, but they don’t come into alignment with the gospel. Our words, our walk and our will need to come into alignment with the gospel. That’s when the Christian life becomes powerful. When we let our affection and appreciation become our affirmation, the power of the gospel begins to work in and through our lives. There’s nothing secret about living for Jesus. We speak it! We own what we speak. Speak what you believe. Think about that. Let your words become the affirmation of your faith and you will live in the awareness and ability of God.
