Philippians Day 6
Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus… Philippians 2:3-5
So, we have this thing going where we are living in the affection of God with a great appreciation for the work of God leading us to application of the word of God. Application happens when our ambition becomes service. When we develop an ambition to serve God and others, our lives are changed. We can get caught up trying to do what we think we are supposed to do but God wants us to be who He has saved us to be. Being (application) is directly tied to our affection for God, appreciation for God and our ambition for God. When life becomes about serving God rather than saving self, this life begins to take shape and make sence.
