The Game of Life Day 6
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples and said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. 21 “Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied. “Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh. “Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! 23 Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets. Luke 6:20-23
The ability to see must be one of the greatest privileges of life. Values birth vision. Our vision for life is determined by our values in life.
In today’s Scripture Jesus is surrounded by a multitude of people who have come to hear Him and be healed by Him. Jesus heals them all but then Jesus then gives them what they need to live healed. A lot of people do not live healed. They do not have a vision for living healed. Jesus gives these people, on that day, the values they need for life to have the vision they need in life. Jesus shares the blessing and burdens of life and in doing so He gives us the vision or the sight that we all need in life. Jesus will ask later, “Can a blind man lead a blind man?” Of course not! To possess a vision for life we need the values of life. A vision for life will make life valuable.
